I am Proud and Embarrassed!

June 6th, 2008 at 04:57 am

But Last weekend, I finally got ALL My Bills together that I had been receiving at my parents and my house (old debt, medical bills and some new debt) and decided to organize and throw away duplicates and keep the most recent to start paying on every week. WELL starting Friday (or tonight) I am starting to PAY IT OFF WOOHOO!!! Big Grin

I am actually trying to pay these bills that give you the online option and some are just so difficult so some I may have to call about and find out what happened to the debt of it and see who now owns it...etc...I am also going to contact CareOne to help me organize my debt and pay it off quicker, I had such nice feedback from a rep I called a year ago and would like to get in contact with CareOne and actually sign up for it this time even if its not the same rep.

Ugh frustration, a lot of these debt collectors I will need to call and not all offer the online pay option, oh well, my consequences for ignoring stuff...

GUESS WHAT?? My Laptop isn't broken, its actually the power cord that needed to be replaced (again, this would be the third time) so I may cancel my $700 Laptop order with Dell. Big Grin And still keep the money in my Savings, I am still undecided but I normally just like to buy things I need.

Well I manage to pay $4.52 tonight, I will need to call on the rest of the debt collectors to see what I can do.

Oh I have the form filled out for automatic deduction into Savings, now I just need to turn it in. Its going to be $25 a week. Big Grin

I feel bad :(

May 30th, 2008 at 07:08 am

I have to take some money out of my Savings to purchase a new Laptop. My Toshiba is working really bad! I already had to change the cord on it. The pin is possibly broken now and now I am getting a new Laptop and do not want to have to make payments. Frown I just barely got my Savings at over $1,000. Plus I had to use my Las Vegas money for birthdays. UGH, I do have a Plan though.

Savings

May 9th, 2008 at 04:00 am

I don't know about everyone else but the way the economy is going and the world right now I am anxious about putting more money in my Savings. Just contemplating when and how much...

Right now I technically have 3 Savings accounts. One is connected to my Checking account, I have another one COMPLETELY separate (no card or anything) on my second Savings and my third Savings account I have through ING.

Savings#1 has about $300 (supposed to be used for a Trip to Vegas)
Savings#2 has $1,005.17
Savings#3 has $394.70

For a Total of about $1699.87

I have a Savings Goal of $3,000.

Not sure when we will be actually going to Vegas because my Partner's Mom is sick and I still need to figure out where my dad is (He is technically homeless always and I want to help him so much Frown and I just hope he is ok somewhere in Vegas. Plus we want to make sure that we can get a Good Deal.

I now make $14.70 but I am also getting another Raise on June 1st...so I think it will be easier to decide how much to Save then...

Looking for 5" Portable B&W w/Radio that is $5?

May 4th, 2008 at 08:50 pm

Last year Office Depot online had $5 TV's and I am trying to see when they will have them again, if anyone else has them, let me know! I already emailed Office Depot and they were not very helpful.

Thanks,

Jackie

Received Rebate Check on Friday (Direct Deposit)

May 4th, 2008 at 08:58 am

What did I do with it? ($600)
$150 MC
$150 Visa
$200 Savings
$149 - well my birthday is this month (MAY) so I bought myself a Flip Video Ultra. Its also PINK (my favorite color) for myself for my birthday. (I Paid extra for the difference left)

I think I spread my Stimulus Check the right way...I put it is all places...Saved, Paid and Bought...

There was a problem though, my daughter's check was not deposited though? So I am thinking it might either come next Friday under her SSN# or I am going to have to call the IRS.

I FINALLY GOT MY PROMOTION PAID!

April 30th, 2008 at 06:57 am

In the Billing Dept that I had been promoted to last October 2007, I did not get my pay for it. The reason for that is, you have to Certify. Which means I have to pass a certain number of Billing Calls and hitting Quality points before I would get my Promotion Pay...and I had three chances to Pass. Well, the first two times they put in in February I failed. Frown And if I had failed the third time I would be sent back to my prior department. So anyway, 7 months later I FINALLY GOT MY PAID PROMOTION I CERTIFIED!!! WOOHOO!! On top of that but the yearly raise in due in June so I will be getting that as well!

Plus I am waiting on my stimulus check. I am thinking about living a paycheck behind and beef up my Savings...Right now because of my Taxes last year I have about $1,000 combined in two Savings accounts. $300 in my ING and $700 in my regular Credit Union.

With my Daughter's check that is going to start her Savings, $100 of her $300 is going to go for her down payment for her teeth again (she has two new teeth growing in and we have to remove the other two).

Unpaid Medical Bills & Debt

April 8th, 2008 at 04:16 am

I am sorry, but I have been trying to avoid these like the plague until I can find a financial solution to pay all of them at once. Well, I feel overwhelmed with all these statements and decided to pay all of the ones I can right now (under $100) and then work on the bigger ones.

Time to Renovate Monthly Purchases

March 31st, 2008 at 02:11 am

I am going to take inventory of everything that I receive a monthly bill for and see if I can drop some unnecessary items from being debited from my account.

It feels Good to pay Bills

February 9th, 2008 at 04:54 am

I had received my Tax return today and paid few good sized bills...it made me happy. Smile Now I don't have to worry about paying them unless I use them (my credit cards) plus I don't have to pay my Car Insurance till June now.

Tax Season & Suze Orman

February 4th, 2008 at 03:14 am

My Taxes are done and I am getting back
$4507.

I owe
Utah State Tax $598
Mother $450
Partner $610
Credit Cards Pay Off $600 (YES!)
Car Insurance $231.40
GRAND TOTAL: $2489.40

I will have $2017.60 left over.

Last night I was watching Suze Orman and watching her made me realize how I need to kick my butt about my debt.

Hmmm Organization

December 2nd, 2007 at 08:04 am

I was thinking of moving all my automatic items to my credit card so that it would be easier to pay it off quicker.

I have little things like my Hosting and Jerky that come out every month...the biggest thing I have is my Business...

I have to get these credit cards paid off and I do not want to get any fees if something were to happen and I did not have the money in my account for some reason. If I did not have the money in there at the time...I need more control somehow, so after Christmas, I will be moving everything EXCEPT for my Credit Cards of course LOL to my Credit Card.

Expecting two Checks from Pinecone and from my Jerky that will be going to my Savings Account.

My Travel Business! : D

November 20th, 2007 at 07:16 am

FINALLY! Big Grin

I had booked my first Travel Booking on my site! I booked a flight for two to Mexico.

I had also acquired some Travel Leads and had been speaking to prospects who are looking to book Travel vacations.

I am very excited and looking forward to using this money to Pay off my Debt Completely and Financial Independence! Big Grin

(They both have $300 Credit on them)

Going to try to make $75 or $100 on the next payment for both of them.

DEBT - Still working on that.

BUSINESS - Still working on it.

Paid myself $20.24

November 11th, 2007 at 04:58 am

from two checks I received in the mail from Jerky and SFI. Its not a lot but it is helping rebuild my Savings & for the $20 Challenge.

I will be Marketing my Business more so I can pay off all of my Debt and finally work from home. Tonight we printed off some Business Cards.

I will also be paying myself $25 per paycheck into my Savings Account here soon.

My Money Goals I have done a couple of them.

I signed up for my 401K, which I am finally glad I did.

Added Value

November 2nd, 2007 at 05:13 am

Well I did get PROMOTED to the Billing Dept at work. Today was the last day of Training, tomorrow I start in my new Dept. Still working on Business though.

I realized that I am adding Value to myself by signing up for my 401k NOW and not later, as well as getting Health Benefits and depositing money back into my Savings. Pleased with myself. Big Grin

I also want to get my daughter a Savings. She is 4 and I want to get this for her really bad. Plus, I had added her as a Beneficiary everywhere, every time when I sign up for a new Financial Account.

I want to knock out a few big things too in the process:

Chase MC $246.41
National City CC $326.44
Car Insurance $360.39 Optional: $133.51

(I had some issues with them and now I have a HUGE Cancellation & Reinstatement fees from them)

Well....Money stuff....

October 9th, 2007 at 05:55 am

At my Job we had donations for United Way, as a contribution through your paycheck, last year I did the one time option and this year decided to do $2 a week towards the Community Fund via Payroll and then had her verify that the money would go directly those in need and not for 'administrative' costs.

I will also being contributing 2% OR 3% of my weekly income for my 401k, my job will match 3%.

I will be getting Health Insurance through my Job also, although I am already covered, but that coverage won't last forever.

Then the last thing I am going to is put $25 a week into my Savings - Direct Deposit of course.

Lastly I MIGHT possibly get Promoted. I am not depending on it so it will help with all the stuff above.

Going back to work Tuesday

October 1st, 2007 at 04:04 am

I should be getting my last two disability checks soon. Rent is due tomorrow. We are getting a reimbursement check back from My Insurance Company from the asteigeologist (sp??) for $150, and I am also putting in $700 (from those two checks from being out on Disability) to cover Rent.

Then I can get back to getting things good on my own account.

Car Insurance

September 27th, 2007 at 08:00 pm

Well playing around on MyPoints, I decided to get a Car Insurance Rate Quote from various Auto Insurance Companies. Well most of them were $60+ and to my Surprise one is actually $33. Right now I pay about $50+ a month for my Auto Insurance. So I am thinking of having that same company do another quote for me to make sure it is accurate with the Insurance I have now.

Since my Insurance I believe is $51 A MONTH, my SAVINGS would be $18 a month! Which I could put back into my Savings.

Speaking of Savings - After I go back to work, I would like to Deposit $30 a week into my Savings Account with Direct Deposit.

Not sure though yet, how I will do it.

Oh dear, my Credit Cards

September 26th, 2007 at 04:17 pm

I have two...my balances are awful on both. I have not used them and I am still waiting for my Checks for my Short Term Disability. I need to pay them both off. I should be getting a Check this week.

I will be going back to work next week sigh.

Plan to Pay $50 on both every week, if not more.

My newer CC has more fees because it is unsecured, horrible fees but I want to make the most of it.

Doom.

Ever not have alot of money but.....

September 9th, 2007 at 04:05 am

Feel like you have to BUY Everything? That is how I feel right now. I cannot help it. At least bills are getting paid right?

Budget/Credit/Debt Analysis

September 8th, 2007 at 04:50 am

Oh I hope I don't turn into Analysis Paralysis! But I am trying to figure out the BEST way to Manage my Money.

I want to be able to Save, Invest, Cut Debt, have a 401K and Spend a little bit and open up a Savings for my DD. PLUS pay my separate Bills.

My Check normally is $480, once we go back down to $250 for our living arrangement that will leave me with about $230.

My Partner invests about $25 for the 401K for the company we work at...plus they match whatever you put in and get Company Traded Stock. Works out well!

$230 to work with....hmmmm

I will be using Sharebuilder to invest in Stocks...probably the Automatic Plan because then the Stocks are only $4 when you do it that way. Which I can do Monthly or Weekly. I will most likely do Monthly.

I would like to Save at least 10% weekly in my Savings Account.

Then paying off Old Debt about 10% a week also.

Plus Bills which equals 2 CCs, YTB and Car Insurance. Which are due 09/17/07, 09/17/07, 09/18/07 and 09/22/07.

I want to be more Organized with my Finances. I signed back up for Zooba and it will be sending me a Credit Book. I cannot wait to read it.

Money Evaluation

September 7th, 2007 at 01:38 am

Savings Accounts:

Savings Account 1: $25
Savings Account 2: $25
ING Account: $82?

Bills Due:

YTB $50
Car Insurance $50
National City CC $10-$50
Mastercard $50

MEDICAL BILLS:
$100 for Surgery
$10-$30 for Pain Prescriptions
$20 (Mom was sweet to cover) Appointment for Surgery

Main account $350 (for all other bills w/Partner - Rent, Gas, Power, Comcast etc...)

Checking Account: ?

This week I will be getting
$480
The following week
$206

When my Disability Checks come in it would be the first one for only two days $206 and then the following would be $480. I think I can budget all of this for this month. Not sure how Surgery is going to be as I do not have Surgery that often.

Then I will be back to work. Later my Partner and I will be only be doing $300 a week and then $250. We just want to make sure we have all Bases covered with Bills and Surgeries...My Daughter just had her teeth done too. Then I will have more money to focus on Saving, Investing and Paying off OLD Debt.

September 5th, 2007 at 05:01 pm

$20 a week towards my Savings
Invest in Sharebuilder
401K at Work

POSITIVE about MONEY

August 31st, 2007 at 05:12 am

Y'all remember The Secret? Yes Money comes to me easily and frequently.

I was finally able to Login to my Online Bank account today and I am not doing too bad...I have no money till next Friday but I have pocket money and the money that my Partner and I have together is going to hold us together for another week. We work at the same place and get paid weekly. We have "Together" Money (i.e. Bills, Food etc...) Then we have our Separate Money...I LOVE how we have it set up.

My Car Insurance took. WHEW! They would have billed me DOUBLE for next month and THANKFULLY they took it this month. No need to explain, just at the time didn't have it when it was due.

Did not get Promoted like I said...but will be starting my Disability next week. Going to get Prepared for that.

Thinking about My Business...I am going to get things going on it. My Goal is to make enough to stay home. Looking into Free Promotion and Advertising and some cheap Advertising as well.

TGIF tomorrow! SIGH.

Broke and Disability

August 29th, 2007 at 02:18 am

I am SOOOO BROKE! Frown I just got back from a week Vacation from work (Paid) and I will not get another Paycheck till next week. (Usually I get Paid Weekly) Again I got slammed to get another Promotion...not too disappointed at least it gets me time to go on Disability and get My Surgery for my Hernia taken care of.

Bills coming up:

Rent/Expenses (Split) - $350 a week

Expenses on my Own:

Car Insurance: $120 (I believe, hopefully I am off a bit but I doubt it)

YTB Business expense $50
Vonage Business Expense $30

National City Visa CC $50
C. Finance Mastercard $50

UGH I do not like Bills. Need to earn extra money somehow. Frown Pouting. Although I need to get better Financially on my own.

Went Shopping today

August 26th, 2007 at 03:02 am

And Shopped through ONLY CLEARANCE Section at the Mall. I stopped at American Eagle and got two shirts for $6.95 a piece from $19.50 and the other was over $20 something dollars. I also went to the Victoria's Secret Store and printed off my $10 Off VS PINK Line and got myself a "I LOVE PINK" Shirt because Pink is my favorite color. Big Grin

I am waiting on my Unsecured Credit Card and My FREE Laptop that I started back in November of 2006. I will later be getting $130 and a $1,000 Gift Card for free too. I love FREE. Big Grin

I will be going out on Short Term Disability in September to take care of my Hernia and some other personal medical problems I may have. I feel fortunate at the Job I think sucks has many great benefits such as Short Term Disability for Medical reasons such as this.

OMG I GOT APPROVED!!!

August 23rd, 2007 at 03:09 am

FOR AN UNSECURED CREDIT CARD! It has been SO LONG since I had even THOUGHT of having an Unsecured Credit Card. The Fees are high and so is the interest but it is so worth it to Me! My Limit is only $300 like my Secured Card but they do regular monthly reporting to the Credit Bureaus and Semi-Annual Credit
Limit Increases etc...and I know to becareful as I am working towards fixing my Credit and Debt...as why I am on this site but you have no idea how good it feels to be Approved for a UNSECURED Credit Card! Big Grin

UGH I am such a dork

August 22nd, 2007 at 04:49 am

I had paid too much on my CC this month! UGH so frustrated. I know it may sound like a good thing but I just really wanted my balance to go away and I forgot that I had 2 different payments coming out this month that I had to pay...I only remembered the one...ugh I will be in the red. I had contacted my Car Insurance to see if they could hold off a couple of days and of course they said that they couldn't. I am just so P'OD at myself. >Frown

Stocks & 401K

August 21st, 2007 at 03:37 am

Stocks- I decided to purchase Stock through Sharebuilder.com through MyPoints.com account so I can get double the bonus and invest in my Business and Company Stock on my own plus a couple of my other favorites.

Well I have a plan to open up a 401K through my Company and I would like to sign up soon, I will try to do close to the minimum but a little bit more if possible. My Long Term future is more important than my Short Term Financial Future.

I am really interested in learning about Stocks and Finance as it is something I am interested in besides Business and Marketing. Money and Business interest me. I would like to take it to the next Level.
