Spent over $600 on Saturday

September 3rd, 2006 at 09:57 pm

Moving into my Apartment & Paid off my Secured CC Completely ($214.23) & that is not including RENT! Still not done. I am happy I had Saved & had that money for my Apartment Fund. Big Grin

I do not have Internet/Cable till next Saturday so I have been cutting Coupons & Reading Magazines.

I cannot really unpack my Clothes & Books until I get my Bookshelf ($20) & Dresser. (mine)

So anyway, I won't be on again probably till next Saturday evening. THANK GOODNESS FOR A SHORT WORK WEEK! Big Grin

Moving is such a big thing!! Take care of yourself and take the unpacking a box at a time!

Congrats on having the apartment fund and paying off that CC!!! YEAH YOU!!

    Get AceMoney Lite from www.download.com.

It's an amazing personal finance application. Record income and expenses and it provides an in-depth analysis of all your income/expense. And no I don't get paid to promote this software...

And as for getting organized... well, get yourself a to-do list. Simple Smile And if you want to go to the next level, get yourself a PDA or Palm Pilot. Considering the fact that I don't really know what exactly it is you need to get organized I can't recommend a specific model; google is your friend.

I wish I could edit my previous comments since I keep pumping these comments out as something comes to mind...

So let me recap in this comment.

To manage your personal finance, download AceMoney Lite off www.download.com.

Get a PDA, or if you can't afford one make a text file called 'Things To Do' on the desktop of your PC and list out everything you have to do and when.

Keep your house or room clean, it's impossible to get any work done if you're in an unclean environment.

'Everything in its place, a place for everything.'

Books go in the bookshelf, cd's go in the CD rack, random papers go in the dust bin, and all similar papers/documents go in a specific folder.

Keep your desk clear. If you know where everything you need is and can find it easily, it isn't necessary to keep everything neat and tidy but it helps.

You can make to do lists, get flashy gadgets to get yourself 'organized' or make a list of everything you need to buy, even how much they cost. But if you're too lazy/retarded to actually follow through on what you plan then cash in your savings, but a dozen six-packs of beer and live off social security benefits.
